How To Work with Your 8ft Ceilings

I know I'm not the only one that has faced the challenge of 8ft ceilings. In the video below I chat about three things I've done in my house to work with our 1969 ranch's 8 ft ceilings. Would love to hear what y'all have done! Here are three of my go to tips.

  1. Hang vertically oriented wallpaper like the paper that is in my dining room. This paper does for walls what a long grecian dress does to the wearer. It just makes you look tall!
  2. Vertically oriented drapes and adding tape trim to drapes. Also, hang those curtain rods close from the bottom of your molding. 
  3. Hang big art!
