What I'm Cooking From This Month

I love this cookbook because it’s more of a reference or an encyclopedia to add to your cookbook collection. One night I had a pork tenderloin, but had no idea how I wanted to cook it and this book saved the day. It truly teaches you how to cook EVERYTHING. It was the best pork tenderloin I’ve ever made! This cookbook also allows you to be versatile in the kitchen by providing several recipe variations depending on what ingredients you have hand.

I also made their blueberry muffins, but didn’t have enough blueberries, so I added a little bit of banana substitute, swapped refined sugar for half a cup of maple syrup, and it worked perfectly.

"How to Cook Everything" keeps you nimble in the kitchen and helps you use things that you already have, while simultaneously teaching you so much about different cooking things.

These were my top recipes to cook from this month:
Pg. 771 muffins, many ways
Pg. 633 simplest whole chicken
Pg. 694 roasted pork tenderloin with lots of herbs (this was my favorite thing I made this month!)
