My story
Hi, I'm Megan! An artist based in Charlotte, NC, where I live with my husband Glenn, our three kids, and one very lovable Golden Retriever. I've been painting for over 10 years and a full-time artist since 2022 — though the road here was anything but linear.
I was always the cautious one, the person who avoided anything unfamiliar or uncomfortable (I didn't even learn to ride a bike until 4th grade!). Even law school felt like the "safe" choice after undergrad. But at 27, back home in Charlotte with some time on my hands, I decided to try something I'd never had the courage to attempt: painting. I took a six-session intro to painting class not even knowing what supplies to buy, and I was hooked. What started as secretly painting in our guest bedroom snowballed into paintings for friends and family — and eventually, a full-time career.
That leap into painting opened the door to saying yes to more: new friendships, new sports and being more open and honest in my life and work. If my story encourages you to try something new, I hope you take the leap — you never know what it might lead to.
I truly feel like I am doing what God wants me to do when I'm in the studio. I am eternally grateful for the ability to paint. Something magical happens when I start working on a canvas. Art has given me a way to make sense of the world. What an honor it is to create something completely new each time I step into the studio.

why daisy?
Named after my great-great-grandmother, "Daisy" has given me a lifelong sense of belonging and legacy. When I signed my very first painting in 2015, "Daisy" just felt right — happy, whimsical, joyful, exactly what I want my art to carry. Every piece I finish and sign "Daisy" is rooted in tradition, made with the hope that it brings a little joy into the world.
